Join us to learn how you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of newcomers in our community. This session will introduce you to Saamis Immigration Services Association (SISA) and the vital role they play in supporting individuals and families as they transition to life in Canada.


We’ll explore:

Who newcomers are and the journeys that bring them to Canada
The immigration and resettlement process from home country to arrival
The challenges newcomers may face during transition and settlement
How SISA supports clients through resettlement assistance and settlement services
Volunteer opportunities and groups offered through SISA
The important role volunteers play in welcoming and supporting newcomers
Whether you are new to volunteering or looking to expand your impact, this session will provide insight, understanding, and practical ways to get involved.
