Join us as we welcome community nurses Tannis and Juliette as they explore the importance of leg care, circulation health, and compression therapy. Tannis, an experienced compression therapy fitter from Northern Entity Compression Stocking Fitters, will guide participants through the purpose, benefits, and proper use of compression stockings—especially for older adults or those managing chronic conditions.
In addition, Tannis and Juliette will discuss serious complications such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolisms (PE), helping attendees understand warning signs, risk factors, and how compression therapy can support prevention and ongoing care.
