Unison in partnership with Bridge To Oasis (BTO) Foundation is hosting an information session for Black and racialized seniors and their caregivers on supports and services available.
We are working collaboratively to better serve these communities by providing education and awareness on how to access government services, housing, community resources, active living, lifestyle enhancement and lots more!
At this event, experts from Unison Alberta and BTO will provide insights on empowering Afro-Canadian seniors and their caregivers. Kemi will be representing the Unison Elder Abuse Shelter. Kemi Anjorin-Ohu is a Registered Social Worker passionate about supporting and advocating for people. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from University of Calgary.
She has over five years of professional experience working at Unison Alberta Elder Abuse Shelter as a Community Outreach Case Worker supporting seniors experiencing Elder Abuse to regain their self-confidence and feel safe as they integrate back into the community.
