Can I order food for delivery?
Kerby Café in Calgary is available on Uber Eats for delivery. Veiner Bistro in Medicine Hat currently operates as a dine-in location only.
Is the food affordable?
Yes — affordability is a core value at both locations. Lunch specials at Kerby Café start at $14. At Veiner Bistro, supper mains start at around $6.50, and members pay reduced rates across the menu. Both locations are designed to offer wholesome, quality meals without financial barriers
Are these spaces good for people with mobility needs?
Both Kerby Centre and Veiner Centre are senior-focused facilities designed with accessibility in mind. Elevators, accessible entrances, and barrier-free seating are available at both locations. If you have specific accessibility requirements, we recommend calling ahead.
Do I need to be a Unison member to dine here?
No membership is required. Both Kerby Café in Calgary and Veiner Bistro in Medicine Hat are open to the public. Anyone is welcome to walk in and enjoy a meal. That said, Unison members do receive discounted pricing — for example, at Veiner Bistro a combo lunch is $14 for members versus $18 for non-members.
