About this event:
Join the Calgary Neuropathy Association's Linda Petiot and Sylvia Donley as we discuss what it is like living with peripheral neuropathy and what options are available to you for your own self-management.  We'll talk about common medications, supplements, how the mind-body connection can turn down the volume on neuropathic pain, and other topics to help everyone understand their neuropathy and their role in managing the condition.

Presented by:

Linda Petiot - Linda, the president of the CNA, officially while retired, spends a lot of time using her hard learned skills running  and growing the Calgary Neuropathy Association (CNA). Linda is not a medical professional, but she has spent the past 10 years speaking with people about their neuropathy, their symptoms and the impact it has on their lives.

Sylvia Donley - Sylvia earned a Masters Degree in Nursing following several accidents and injuries leading to a diagnosis of CRPS-1.  She was President of the CNA for many years and currently remains on the board.  Her focus and passion has always been for Education and Self Management Strategies as she continues to give the presentation "Living With Neuropathy & Chronic Pain"

Please note that registration for this online presentation will close the day before at 3:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend the live session, don’t worry — the presentation will be available to watch online for the following two weeks on our YouTube channel “Unison for Generations 50+.
